Travel Advice

Travel Immunisation/Vaccinations

Please make an appointment at least 8 weeks in advance of your holiday, to ensure adequate cover. A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which arenot covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held at reception.

Last minute travellers or patients who do not give the required 8 week notice cannot be guaranteed an appointment for immunisation.

Seeing the Practice Nurse for your travel consultation, you MUST complete and send a travel form (available at reception or online - see below), or complete the online travel questionnaire, so that it reaches the Practice Nurse 1 week before your appointment.

Anti-Malarial Medication

If you require anti-malarial tablets, you may need a prescription for which there is a charge, as Malarial medication isnot covered by the NHS. The current charge is £13.00 per patient, regardless of age.
